Malala Yousafzai Husband Asser Malik
Malala Yousafzai finally got married to Asser Malik on Nov 9, 2021. After a long last relationship, they got married in Birmingham, central England.
Asser Malik is the general manager of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB)High-Performance Centre. Moreover, from April 2019 to May 2020, he was the Managing Director of MLK Management, a player management firm.
Though it is unclear when Asser Malik and Malala Yousafzai first met in 2019.
He has also been linked to plays since he was the President of Dramamine, a company that specializes in theater performances. Asser Malik graduated from the Lahore University of Management Sciences with a BSc in Economics and Political Science in 2012.
Early Life
She continued to study after winning the honors, and five years later, in 2020, she graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.

Back in 2008, a BBC report Aamer Ahmed Khan came to Swat district of Pakistan to take the interview for unwanted growing activities by the Taliban.
Back then the situation, all the local schools were closed and some were destroyed by the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan. In such a situation, no one wanted to give an interview on the Taliban’s ongoing activities in that village.
Amer Ahmed Khan was the friend of the Malala Yousafzai father Ziauddin Yousafzai. His father was a school teacher of the local school in Swat district.
Hence, Ziauddin Yousafzai let the reporter take the interview of her daughter even in the fear of the Taliban. Her father runs the high school and college which is situated in Mingora named Mingora Khushal Girls High School and College.

Yesterday, I had a nightmare about military helicopters and the Taliban.Since the start of the military operation in Swat, I’ve had dreams like this.I went to school after my mother had cooked me breakfast. Because the Taliban had issued an order prohibiting all girls from attending school, I was terrified to go to school. Because of the Pakistani Taliban’s order, just 11 out of 27 students attended class. Following the order, my three companions and their families relocated to Peshawar, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, respectively. “
Her story was also published in the local newspaper. Following the publishing of her story, On 24th Jan 2009, he also wrote that she is not able to give her annual exam due to the prohibition of girls going to school.
In the month of Feb 2009, the peace deal with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan came to highlight and they allowed girls to go to school but girls had to wear burqas.
After opening the school she wrote another quoting saying
“People are once again concerned that the peace may not continue. Some argue that the cease-fire agreement is just temporary and that it is merely a pause in the combat.“
Following her BBC interview, she was invited to many television shows like the Urdu-language Daily Aaj, AVT Khyber, and also appeared on Capital Talk on 19th Aug 2009.
She gradually involved in different social works and advocate for female education in the whole nation.
Malala Yousafzai Shot by Talibans
She got multiple threats from the Taliban when she raised her voice against them. She even received death threats on social media platforms.
On Oct 12, 2009, the Taliban’s shot her in Swat valley while she was heading back home after attending her exam.
As per the statement, at first, the gunmen questioned the group of girls that “ Which one of you is Malala? Speak up “. After identifying Malala, the gunmen shot her from 18 inches and hit her left shoulder passing through her Brain.

Malala Yousafzai Hospitalized
After the incident, she was rushed to a military hospital that is situated in Peshawar where she had to go through the surgery due to Swelling occurring in her brain’s left side.
Moreover, doctors were forced to operate and remove a portion of her skull to avoid or overcome the swelling. This procedure is known as a decompressive craniectomy.
On Oct 12, the hospital panel decide to transfer her to another hospital for further treatment. They move her to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology which was located in Rawalpindi.
The critical situation of Yousafzai seems very critical and the doctor had provided a 60% chance of her living. As a result, she was forced to move outside the country for better treatment.
She and a group of other doctors then relocated to Germany. The government has declared that it will cover the whole cost of her treatment.
She also received treatment in the United Kingdom at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The UK government told the public media that the Pakistan government will pay all the expenses that including her traveling, migration, and subsistence costs.

- A person who has broken the law, especially one who remains at large over discriminated against girls should be punished.
- Develop a plan to deliver education for every child.
- By the end of 2015, Internation Organization should ensure that all of the children over 61 Million should be educated.
On 17 Oct 2012, she came out of a coma and was becoming stable after a few days. Yousafzai endured an eight-and-a-half-hour operation on November 11 to restore her facial nerve.
